This is the heartbreaking moment an heroic eight-year-old girl broke down in tears as she describes how she bravely rescued her family from a house fire as they sheltered from Hurricane Irma .
Jahnay Smith was being interviewed by Local 10 News reporter Erica Rakow when she started crying as she told how she rescued her relatives in West Park, Florida yesterday.
The family had bunked down inside the house which had shutters fitted in preparation for the approaching Hurricane Irma.
