On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, shortly before 5:00 p.m., a Louisiana State Trooper conducted a traffic stop involving a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro on Louisiana Highway 17, near Winnsboro, for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, the Trooper noticed bullet holes in the driverï¿½s side of the vehicle. The driver gave verbal consent for the Trooper to search the vehicle. BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Heartbreaking video posted to social media shows massive flames from a wildfire as it approached a mobile home in Vernon Parish Thursday night. The man who took the video identified it as his sister’s home located in Evans, Louisiana.

Despite the intense flames, the family tells KPLC-TV in Lake Charles that the home was spared. However, the home’s siding was melted, and the sewer and water lines were damaged.

This Man's Interview After Getting Arrested For Stealing A Fire Department Car Is Straight Jokes!

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — A St. Tammany Parish Deputy is recovering after being struck by a car during a pursuit Saturday.
 
According to STPSO, at about 1 p.m. a deputy patrolling part of Louisiana Highway 36 near Covington, attempted to stop a white Dodge Hellcat that had no license plate.
 
The driver, identified as 24-year-old Kody McElveen, did not stop and continued heading westbound on La. 36 turning onto U.S. Highway 190 near Claiborne Hill, deputies said. Covington Police joined the pursuit down U.S. 190 and onto westbound Interstate 12. 
 
A spike strip was deployed near the Louisiana Highway 21 exit in an attempt to stop the car but McElveen swerved and missed the spikes hitting the deputy with the passenger side of the Dodge, according to STPSO. He then drove on down I-12, exiting at Louisiana Highway 1077. 
 
The deputy was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
 
The Sheriff's Office said the Hellcat was found in a Rouse's parking lot and that witnesses said McElveen was inside the store. As he left the store he noticed deputies waiting for him and began to run.
 
Deputies arrested McElveen in the parking lot and found he was carrying a gun. He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center for:
 
Attempted Murder of a Police Officer 
Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle Upon a Peace Officer 
Illegal Possession of a Firearm 
Aggravated Flight from an Officer 
Reckless Operation 
Possession of Schedule I (marijuana) 
Six counts of failure to stop or yield.

Arizona authorities announced Wednesday morning that a Tuesday afternoon shelter-in-place order following a deadly rollover that resulted in a hazmat spill has been reinstated. 
 
"Unified Command has reinstated the shelter in place order for a one-mile perimeter around the incident. While crews were attempting to remove the load from the commercial vehicle, gassing occurred. I-10 remains closed in both directions between Kolb & Rita roads in Tucson," the Arizona Department of Public Safety tweeted. 
 
Residents were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel, and the department said that Unified Command anticipates an "extensive closure."

Peel Regional Police released stunning security camera video Wednesday showing a woman run over a man while allegedly stealing his Porsche SUV earlier this month in Mississauga.

That woman, now wanted for the vehicle theft and dangerous operation causing bodily harm, is captured on the video telling the man she's at his home to see the Porsche Cayenne. Police said she was responding to an Auto Trader ad, and the incident took place at around 2 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue area.

She tells the man she's waiting for her dad, but asks to see the vehicle first. The doorbell camera captures a clear image of the suspect, who Peel Regional Police are still trying to identify. When the man moves behind the white SUV, the woman reverses hard and slams into him. The man disappears from view as the SUV races backward onto the street.

Somehow, he bounces up, though he holds his back as he confronts the woman through the window.

The video shared by police doesn't show the SUV driving away, but it was stolen, according to a news release.

Police are also looking for information about the drivers of two other SUVs — one that's silver-grey and one that's blue — in connection with the case.
