A suspect was arrested Friday in Pennsylvania on an active arrest warrant for murder in the first degree in connection with the killings of four University of Idaho students last month. The man arrested is Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28. On May 31, 2021, superstar rapper Jonathan "DaBaby" Kirk and his entourage were involved in an altercation in front of the Miami Beach restaurant Prime 112. Real World Police recently published a police interview of DaBaby's bodyguard in relation to the incident. Today, in this Real World Police exclusive, the narrative takes unexpected twists and turns as DaBaby first demands (and receives!) a custom Miranda waiver, after which he relates his version of the events, revealing that he himself fired shots.

Below is a lightly edited version of the arrest report that was ultimately filed for Wisdom Akornuche Awute. Wisdom is (a) an artist on DaBaby's label, and (b) the person who was ultimately charged with attempted murder in relation to the Prime 112 shooting. The stories, to say the least, are not the same. At all.

On May 31, 2021, at approximately 2337 hours, Miami Beach Police Department (MBPD) Officer Guzman advised MBPD dispatch of shots fired on the 100 block of Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, Florida. When police arrived on scene, they found Emerson Delgado, shot in his right calf. Delgado was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care.

On scene, officers contacted Carlos Aviles, who related as follows:

Mr. Delgado and Mr. Aviles had been attempting to enter their vehicle, which was parked in front of Prime 112. A verbal altercation ensued between Aviles, Delgado, and a group of males, who Aviles identified as the entourage of rapper DaBaby. Aviles stated that the argument escalated to the point where Delgado was struck on his face by one of DaBaby's entourage members. Delgado stumbled and attempted to run from his attacker.

Authorities today were looking for suspects who stole a dozen French bulldog puppies from a Gardena pet shop that the owner said were worth more than $100,000. 

The crime occurred about 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Top Dog Pet Store in the 2500 block of Rosecrans Avenue, the store's owner told KTLA5. 

Security video shows four masked men breaking into the business. The burglars were seen arriving at the shop in a large white Chevy van. Details of the crime were not immediately released by Gardena police, who said only that the theft was under investigation. 

"They ran to where the dogs were, grabbed the cages, dragged them out and tossed them into the van," Andres Avalos, the shop's owner, told KTLA. "They came in through the front door, kicked the door open, turned the light on, grabbed the dogs, and took off."

Avalos said the suspects escaped with 12 French bulldogs, including a 10-month-old show dog named "Roll X." 

"It's a big financial loss," Avalos said. "The dogs were (worth) over $100,000. We use those dogs for breeding purposes and that's how we make a living. With the dogs being gone, it'll be tougher to get by now." 

As the dogs were moved outside, some of the suspects were seen quickly grabbing the small puppies and throwing them into the back of the van. The entire heist lasted only minutes, Avalos said. One suspect also broke into the shop's cash register and escaped with around $2,000 in cash.

KTLA reported that Avalos is offering a substantial monetary reward for anyone who can help track down the missing dogs and the thieves who took them. Posted by JR
