Daniel "Fantom" Darinus is in South Florida recovering from burns on his face after being struck by a low-hanging wire during Haiti's Carnaval parade last week. Darinus was aboard a float with bandmates from the popular Haitian hip-hop group Barikad Crew when he was struck in the face. The sudden shock led to panic and a stampede, which resulted in the deaths of 17 people. Darinus said he blacked out just after the huge spark pierced the air. "I don't remember.
