The 10-year-old Texas girl was born with a rare birth defect and has worn a prosthetic limb for most of her life, according to Houston's KHOU. With the help of A Step Ahead Prosthetics, Emma's mom was able to gift her daughter a doll that "looks just like me." The New York-based company, which makes after-market alterations to dolls, retrofitted the doll with a tiny prosthetic leg in pink, Emma's favorite color.
