Backstory: "We were staying in a cabin in Hayward Wisconsin on the Chippewa Flowage. We were sitting in the living room with a view of the lake and noticed an eagle swimming towards our beach. At first, I thought it was hurt but then it swam to shore with a 20 LBS Carp in its talons. It sat on the shore and ate the fish for a couple of hours and then came back in the morning and finished eating the Carp. It was truly an amazing sight to see! Terrified passengers and crew on an Air China flight from Shanghai to Beijing have told how they were thrown about like rag dolls when their plane hit severe turbulence which left several people injured. The first half of the flight was normal, but less than an hour before landing, while many passengers were out of their seats to go to the toilet, the plane experienced a sudden drop in altitude. A couple of seconds later there was another fierce descent which threw a passenger who was not in her seat and a flight attendant who was helping her at the time flying up to the ceiling. A 66 to 72-million-year-old dinosaur embryo has been discovered inside a fossilized egg that scientists describe as one of the best-preserved specimens of its kind ever found.

The embryo, dubbed â€œBaby Yingliang,â€� was discovered in Ganzhou in southern China. It belongs to a toothless theropod dinosaur, or oviratorosaur.

Scientists from the University of Birmingham in the U.K. and the China University of Geosciences in Beijing observed the embryo in a "tucking" position, which was previously thought to be the pre-hatching behaviour of birds.

"This behaviour has long been thought unique to birds but now we see evidence in our fossil that even in non-bird dinosaurs they might have the same type of pre-hatching behaviour," said Fion Waisum Ma, a joint lead author of the study from Birmingham University. Posted by PSmooth

"Pneumonia cases in children are reaching ‘epidemic levels’ in Denmark, with chilling similarities to the beginnings of Coronavirus.

‘White lung syndrome’ pneumonia – nicknamed due to how the lung damage shows up on scans – is caused by mycoplasma pneumoniae, a bacterial infection that many antibiotics cannot fight.

The Netherlands also reported a worrying increase in children with pneumonia, and Sweden is being affected as well.

The disease spreads through coughing, sneezing talking, singing and breathing – through tiny respiratory droplets.

Normally, the mycoplasma pneumoniae causes only mild flu-like symptoms – it’s also referred to as ‘walking pneumonia’.

The sickness can’t always be treated with antibiotics, however, making it more dangerous for younger children.

It comes as Beijing is battling a similar disease which is causing dangerous inflammation in the lungs of children.

Face masks and social distancing have already been recommended across China as the sickness spreads and overwhelms hospitals.

Another driver's dashcam captured 18-year-old Ryan Lamb catching some major air in his van as he ran straight over a roundabout on the A11 in Norfolk.
 


The incident occurred as he was heading to the Sundown music festival at the Norfolk Showground when he failed to stop at the 'Stag' roundabout. Lamb claims he simply did not see the roundabout coming, and couldn't slow down in time. There were two other teenagers in the car with him, all escaped without injuries.


 
After authorities saw the footage, Lamb was disqualified from driving or obtaining a license for 12 months, he was also ordered to perform 80 hours of unpaid work some small fines. Once he is eligible again, he must also complete an extended driving test in order to regain his license. Posted By Ghost

A traffic accident in Yonkers resulted in a woman being pinned under a car.

Surveillance video captured the shocking moment that took place around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

A woman crossing New Main Street was struck by a car and knocked to the ground.

As the woman struggled to get up, video showed the driver stop and start to get out, but never put the vehicle in park.

Peel Regional Police released stunning security camera video Wednesday showing a woman run over a man while allegedly stealing his Porsche SUV earlier this month in Mississauga.

That woman, now wanted for the vehicle theft and dangerous operation causing bodily harm, is captured on the video telling the man she's at his home to see the Porsche Cayenne. Police said she was responding to an Auto Trader ad, and the incident took place at around 2 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue area.

She tells the man she's waiting for her dad, but asks to see the vehicle first. The doorbell camera captures a clear image of the suspect, who Peel Regional Police are still trying to identify. When the man moves behind the white SUV, the woman reverses hard and slams into him. The man disappears from view as the SUV races backward onto the street.

Somehow, he bounces up, though he holds his back as he confronts the woman through the window.

The video shared by police doesn't show the SUV driving away, but it was stolen, according to a news release.

Police are also looking for information about the drivers of two other SUVs — one that's silver-grey and one that's blue — in connection with the case.
