Terrance Howard was driving to NCCU where he was going to be playing football on a full ride scholarship this fall. After being involved in a minor accident, he was hit at full speed by another car while checking on the other driver. He suffered severe brain trauma and was on a ventilator. Terrence's family refused to accept this and insisted he was "stable" and demanded he be transferred to a hospital in Houston. When this didn't happen and Terrence's condition worsened, they claimed the hospital had deliberately put something in his IV to kill him. The family spent an extended period of time performing "CPR" on Terrence despite him having a heartbeat and breathing via the ventilator, and refused to allow nurses and doctors into the room. They were eventually removed by police. The entire event was live streamed.
Terrence eventually succumbed to his injuries.
