DESCRIPTION
The unidentified officer responded to an ad for a White BMW for sale and had arranged to meet the seller at Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and 145th Avenue in Springfield Gardens, Queens. Two men arrived and showed the officer the car, they went “back and forth†about the price, before one of the men pulled out a black handgun and aimed it at the officer. The cop pulled out his own weapon and fired several rounds at the suspect. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
