A viral Facebook video showing a juvenile flinging a toddler around has already been through the Lauderdale County Youth Court, police said.

Sgt. Dareall Thompson, with the Meridian Police Department, said the juvenile was charged and processed through Youth Court earlier this week.

"I guess some people are just now seeing it," Thompson said. "The person is a juvenile and that juvenile has been charged."

The video on Facebook, taken from Snapchat, has more than 20,000 shares and 400,000 views.

A distraught woman yells at the juvenile to stop throwing the child around by her arms and, in the second part of the video, tells her to stop sitting and bouncing on the child. Posted by Abdul
