A man in Haines City, FL has been arrested on child abuse charges after leaving his juvenile son on the side of the road after suspecting that the boy was gay. Evenaud Julmeus, 30, left his son near a local police station equipped with a duffel bag of several articles of clothing but left him with no food or money.
The incident was sparked after Julmeus allegedly found male-male pornography on his son's phone whose age has been redacted from the affidavit. The boy said his father told him to pack a bag and that the police would find him a new home. According to the affidavit, Julmeus then dropped his son off near “a closed police department with no one around, failing or omitting to provide the victim with care, supervision and services necessary to maintain physical or mental health while also failing to make a reasonable effort to protect the victim from abuse, neglect or exploitation of others.†Posted by PSmooth
