12 Alabama inmates used peanut butter to alter numbers on their jailhouse door to fool a new guard into opening it to let them free. The new jail employee was in a control room at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, watching the inmates on closed-circuit television. He opened what he thought was the door to allow an inmate into his cell.
