The United States Airforce has initiated a program known as “Skyborg Vanguard Program†which combines autonomous drone capabilities and AI-controlled fighter jets. At the moment, numerous contractors are competing for task orders of about $400 million. Ai-controlled
autonomous jets are being flown alongside manned aircrafts for training purposes. According to
the program, the aircrafts should be low-cost and be able to operate in high-risk areas.
